As pointed out this does include the standard warranty and the shipping is free, so it’s $10 cheaper than Amazon. Not hot but every little bit helps.

Bought all three of my Ryzen CPUs from ebay including a 3700X, no issues. When have you had a CPU arrive DoA? Seems like one of the most reliable parts in a PC. No good coupons these days on ebay, but if you get ebay bucks it is better than nothing. With the standard 1% you'll get $2.80 back. Better than nothing. I'd absolutely go with the ebay deal and save the money but each to their own.

Computers are absolutely essential in this remote-work era. And most of these busineses still open have implemented safety for employees/customers.

Quit pretending like covid 19 suddeny means the end of the world - you can still walk into most big-box stores. They've just closed non-essntial businesses (like like your hair salon).

I live near a micro center. I just thought some of you might want to save an extra $10.

I can’t speak for anyone else here obviously but if I’m sitting on eBay bucks, coupons or gift cards and I can pay with my PayPal balance, I much prefer buying from a reputable seller there than using my credit card at Amazon or a store. I occasionally buy from Newegg for the same reason - spending my PayPal balance doesn’t affect my budget.

Was nicer before eBay started collecting sales tax for everything though.
 
$10 less than what it has been listed on Amazon and Newegg for over a month is not [H]ot, even warm is pushing it.

They are considered essential since people are working from home more etc they need tech stuff.
 
When the pandemic was just starting, MicroCenter was very aggressive with the number of customers allowed in the store. I had purchased a router and was trying to return it. I got my name on the entry list and was supposed to get texted when it was my turn to get in. After waiting 2.5 hours in the parking lot, I left. MC is not a great option right now if they are still limiting the crowds in their stores. You may end up spending a lot more time in there getting it (and returning it if you need to). Save time and go with Amazon.
 
Ebay, Amazon and NewEgg have all been good to me for the most part. Performance PCs too. A deal is a deal.

Microcenter is doing what they can but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you just have to have their deal or the item that day. I did store pickup at our local one for a GPU (client build) and what a terrible experience. Place was packed- well the lot anyway. Checked in and had a 3 hour wait in the car. Some people were milling about out front of the store and while keeping apart someone must have complained because the local PD showed up and dispersed everyone. The choice was sit in your car and wait for your text or leave. I’m certainly feeling like saving a few bucks isn’t worth any of that in the current state of affairs.
 
Yeah, 4 hours each way to MC, no thanks. Wish there was one closer, I still don't understand their locations... 2 of them within 30 minutes of each other... Might as well of separated them a bit more to include more people. Even if they put them 1 hour, the longest someone would have had to drive is 30 minutes if they were in the middle....
