WTB: 32 GB DDR4 2666mhz ( 2 x 16gb) - 2 sets

64GB kits using two modules wouldn't be affordable for most people. If you only have two slots, it may cap out at 32GB. Many of the older memory controllers for some CPU's had a max supported memory capacity of 64GB. This was even fairly recent with Z170, etc. I have a hard time believing that a new PC wouldn't have XMP support either.

What's the full system configuration of this thing?

I just purchased a new PC that only has 2 ram slots and no XMP support, so apparently that means it caps out at 2666mhz?

I think the best it can handle is 32 GB DDR4 2666mhz ( 2 x 16gb). I'm not sure if 2 x 32gb is standard/affordable yet?

Honestly 2x32 isn't that hard to find or even that bad. You will not likely find them on the used market though. Just make sure whatever you are buying are not the goofy memory modules that use multi memory channels per dimm.

If you want some plain non xmp modules. Your probably going to have to look a bit harder, but they do exist. You can find them on ebay pretty easily.

Just don't accidently buy registered dimm modules.

I actually have 4 x 16GB sticks of G.Skill ram, but its a matched set and I would want to sell it all in one shot.
