Hi everyone, I've created a tutorial how to get Teams working with Microsoft Phone system to make and receive regular phone calls, associate phone numbers and other basic procedures. I noticed no one so far has done a similar tutorial when I was looking to implement it a few months ago, so I decided to record one. I hope it is useful for you guys as it was my first attempt making one. Please feel free to give me some feedback as well if you have a chance. I'm trying to help the community as much as I was helped in the past watching other people tutorials.

I notice your picture blinks out from time to time. Not bad for a first start. didn't watch the whole thing but good intro.

One thing I have seem from others is tape stuff and splice in if there was something you didn't like or make a mistake.
One thing you should do is look at the camera unless you are checking your notes.
I would also next time tape to tracks. Tape you background doing things on the computer. Then tape talking about what you are doing. That way you don't have to be looking else where so often.
Not sure if you need to go through all the minor details.

Overall I think you have a good start and for the first time you did a good job compared to some of the others I have seen!

Do you mean my video feed? I was still learning how to do things back then, too much to try at the same time. I tried looking at the camera in other videos, but I have shit memory when it comes to say what I have in mind without lots of gap filling words.

I'm testing this taping the action and then doing voice over, that indeed has helped a lot with the pressure

thanks for the feedback, much appreciated :)

Glad I could help. You had a good start. If you look at videos online you will see that many times multiple takes are necessary to get it right. Don't be afraid to retape portions. We all make mistakes just make sure you plan it out try to talk as if you are discussing something not reading something. I'm sure as you get better at it things will get better.
When describing things from a computer screen. Decide beforehand what level of experience the audience you are addressing needs. You might make a couple of versions. And you can do it all from one taping of the screen if you avoid feeling like you have to constantly talk. the full version would be for newbies who wants to see every step. Most of us even if not familiar don't need to see the mouse moving clicking every little thing. A simple go to the Microsoft store. Login, click ____, and purchase. Once that is done now lets..... If someone can't figure out how to use the Microsoft store they probably are not ready for teams period.

By doing that you have one version that walks babies through the purchase. The rest of us don't waste a couple of minutes while you do the obvious (and thus don't get bored and stop watching.)

Good luck moving forward, Cheers.
