"The FBI field office in Portland, Oregon relayed the following tips on how you can protect your family:

"At the low end of the risk spectrum, they can change channels, play with the volume, and show your kids inappropriate videos. In a worst-case scenario, they can turn on your bedroom TV's camera and microphone and silently cyberstalk you.""

i thought this would be a confirmation of TVs pre-comprimised by the nationals of foreign entities and not that they're susceptible to hackers, i bet some might be pre-comprimised anyhow

Russia - in economic hardship washed up country.
China - In economic assent, engaged in at least 3 active atrocities, appears to be slowly and steadily increasing their military capability, pretty much have taken over Africa, saber rattles against our friends in their region (Japan).

But Russia is our only concern? China offers cheap labor so, surprise, our big enemy is Russia? ok.
