LTE to Ethernet Adapter

I am in the market for some LTE to Ethernet adapters. We want something that is reliable but we need almost no features. With that in mind, the cheaper the better.

Let me know what you guys have tried.

May not be what you're looking for but, I've used several Cradlepoint devices and Fortiextenders. I could not tell you what specific models they were but, both brands work very well and we've seen no issues with either. We mostly use these as backup connectivity.

I use a raw modem in a USB 3 enclosure hanging off a Supermicro Atom box running ROOter consuming about 14-18w total with WAP.

With my setup I can see 50-115mbps down and 40-50mbps up. You can do it with a pi as well, and I did for a bit but wanted to ensure there were no performance limitations at the Pi3 does not have true gigabit ethernet and shares bus with USB. Probably not a big deal for me but I already had the gear laying around.

There is an ATT Ipad plan that can be used in these devices. I personally have not seen any slow downs or limitations with the ipad plan and move some data.

Mofi for ATT, T-Mobile, or Verizon. Has Cat6 LTE so supports carrier aggregation.

Or cheaper is Netgear LB2120 if you only using ATT or T-Mobile and ok with only Cat4 LTE.

Plenty of used cradle point equipment on eBay also that might be worth checking out depending on your needs.

I use a Mikrotik Routerboard RBLHGR&R11e-LTE-US on AT&T for a backup connection at my house and a Mikrotik Routerboard RBwAPR-2nD&R11e-LTE-US as a primary connection at a cabin. Both work great.

IDK, I got two mofis...on the shelf for a spare solution.

If you look at the options I listed above you can step into a mofi clone with cat12 for less than the mofi and would feature support for MORE bands. Hell, a Netgear MR1100(has 2x t9 external ports, can be modded to have three, can be unlocked) would be a superior solution over the mofi and has a cat16 modem and a gigabit port. The mofi only does 10/100 on all its ports as well so even if towers near you can provide over 100mbps you won't benefit. The port speed on "all in one" type I linked above would also be limited and a clone of the mofi for a lot less $$$ *shrug*. What I am saying is I wouldn't go out of my way to pick up another mofi, they are what they are

I used cradle point for years, couldn't recommend enough.
