EverQuest and Pantheon developer Brad McQuaid has died

Brad McQuaid, best known as a formative hand in the creation of EverQuest, has died aged 51. McQuaid's death was reported by the official Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Twitter account, which is the MMO he was working on until his death.

When I played EQ1 I remember players going nuts whenever Brad would show up in his signature green armor. Holy crap that was 1999.

He seemed to really enjoy what he did as a developer. 51 is too young for anyone to go.

Holy fuck I loved seeing him in game.

Man I miss playing on Prexus. God I don’t remember anything from back then but I remember my EQ characters.
