Skyrim cosplay stuns fans with incredible Nightingale Armor outfit

Dexerto posted an article showcasing Drakmire's (Reddit link) work re-creating Skyrim's Nightingale armor using real leather.

By way of tribute to the secret faction, Reddit user, ‘Drakmire’, posted their authentic take on the Nightingale Armor. As you’d expect, fans have lapped up the cosplayer’s efforts — receiving almost 28k upvotes in 48 hours.

Drakmire goes on to detail the crafting process and months of effort that it took to create the costume, stating: “It was hours per day, every day, for maybe 4 months for what’s actually pictured.”

An impressive feat, I must say. Level of detail is incredible. Kudos for him and his wife taking the time to create an outstanding replica.

Ugh, I was hoping for a sexy cosplay thread. Shows what I know of Skyrim.

The nightingales one of my favorite quest lines in Skyrim. That is impressive, must've taken a lot of effort.

Not going to lie, never played Skyrim, but yeah I read "Nightingale" and in my mind I thought "That must be like a nightie... a sexy somewhat see through piece of armor that would in no way be useful in real life but in a game it gives +2 boobs"

So Cosplay is what this generation uses for softcore.

Well it does certainly seem like for every 1 costume that is just an absolute masterpiece of craftsmanship, there's 100 women who are wearing "look at my cleavage" costume.

Would be better with skooma.

Cosplay to me is softcore nerd porn, when I did Comicon in 2010 it was the nerd kids looking for other nerd kid kinsmanship.......which I get, I'm a little out of the age bracket but hey Halloween is only one day a year to practice your craft. Thing is then there were all the ProAm's, the 6 of 10's, and the assholes who think they're going to get hired into a movie because they put on a bathrobe and call themselves a Jedi. When I was there some guy had a fully functioning Iron Man suit (and you could tell he was from California and was in the biz......whereas another guy had a functioning Warhammer Marine suit and he was on platforms up about 12" so he towered above everyone. As much as I enjoy mocking cosplayers who aren't half naked females, I have to say those did impress.

If so that means the front page and the news "went to shit" years and years ago. Cosplay posts have adorned the front page for years. Some of them because of scantily clad females and others just because the outfit was so well done.
