I dont want custom cool coz I dont know how to do it. Any AIO better than my h150i pro?

It seems like 99% of the AIOs all use the same Asetek pumps so the only real difference is the fans, RGB, etc. I’m trying to decide between the cheap Fractal unit and the Corsair H150i pro since the cool the same (maybe even a tad better for Fractal due to fans.). You already own the H150i pro so you’re golden.

What exactly are your goals? Does it have to be quiet? You could add 3 more fans to the other side of the radiator for a 6-fan push-pull setup. That is what I did with my current AIO. It will be louder, but move more air, which should give you lower temps. I'm currently running a Cooler Master ML360R cooler which outperforms the H150i in most of the testing that I've seen, but not enough to "upgrade" to one if you already have an H150i.

Some of the larger air coolers perform on par with AIOs, but it'd be something of a sidegrade.

If you need cooler temps from where you're at now, custom loop is about the only way you can go. It's not as complicated as you think. I know you said you didn't know how to do it, but there is always... y'know... learning. :D

I bought the swiftech h360 aio. Is it close to custom loop? May add another 280 rad if needed.

Excellent choice! Those Swifty units are real custom loops, made with real copper components and expandable. They just are sold pre-built. Copper block and radiator, DDC-style pump.

Just be sure if you add a rad to get a copper one. One of the first lessons of custom loop cooling - don't mix copper and aluminum in the same loop, no matter how tempting the price is. It'll corrode and destroy your components over time.

I'm currently using the H150i Pro on my 3700X system, non OC'd, keeps things cool. Packed into an R6 case with 4 intake and 4 exhausting. I change hardware so often there is no way I'm getting into custom loops, so for what it is, the H150i is nice, just on the expensive side. If you'd just looking for a AIO to keep things cool(er) get the H110i save some $, or the Fractal Equivalent... otherwise the best is pretty much the H150i.

Fuck sealed AIOs (99.999% of retail units) they are just pretend water cooling with none of the actual benefits. Most of the times they only look better than solid air coolers when people ignore the sound, or only measure the fans and totally ignore the shitty pump. Also raw dB readings never tell you the actual fucking annoying sound factor. The only thing they have over air is a potentially better top end cooling, with the matching much higher noise.

The swiftech was a good choice since its a real water cooler that just happens to be pre-configured.

Manually set the pump to 100%
Set a manual fan curve

Hope your Mobo has decent fan header control.

My super basic B450m hdv handled an h115i fine, so about anything should work.
