Never used Google OS, what chromebooks are right for me?

I'd like to purchase a chromebook in near future as my old Win7 laptop is shit.

This is what I'm interested in and will be using the device for:

- I believe I would like a 2 in 1, that is either (a) Detachable or (b) very lightweight and comrfortable to hold in tablet mode
- Some "mobile" gaming from Andoid app store, so a brilliant display is important
- Lightweight Online spreadsheet/document record keeping, etc
- My mainstay "surfing" device
- Occasional video streaming
- Comfortable and quality keyboard, preferably backlit
- Solid hardware configuration, I can't stand not having a "snappy" device, even when under load
- Fast transfer inputs so I can transfer photos/videos from my iPhone quickly (or a wireless method to sync this if possible?)
- I don't travel much, so mostly will be used at home, however I do still want something lightweight as I want to be able to hold it comfortably as a tablet.

I'm hoping to purchase soon, but may wait for Black Friday/Cyber monday sales, if that means I can get a much better product at the same price point.

Speaking of that, my budget is in the 400-500 range, although may spring a bit more if it seems worthwhile.

Also, are there any devices on the horizon that may be around my budget worth waiting for?

In that range, I kind of like the Asus Chromebook Flip (C434), although I like the physical size of the OG Pixelbook better (the price I don't like as much).

To put in perspective, I have a cheap HP Chromebook 11 x360 and it works fine for what it is. Play Store and android apps work fine with the touchscreen. I just wish I had something slightly faster and more modern looking.
