Not even B-die (Micron). Really neat stuff. I'd love to see some Intel vs AMD memory benchmarks. It really seems that AMD takes extremely well to high frequency memory perhaps due to their memory controller being on a seperate IO die?

Its cool that someone has hit 5000 but nobody will buy it. Itll just sit in the warehouse gathering dust. Give it 6 months until availability comes up. Then prices will fall. I doubt it will ever come down to reasonable prices tho. Im sure its real hard to consistantly get modules to hit that speed. I can only see cats like kingpin using it to break some records with his evga gear.

but nobody will buy it.
Sure they will there is plenty of people with more money than they know what to do with and there will probably be limited stock due to the high bin of the chips and a lack of CPU/MB that can handle the speed.

There is that. Peeps with more money than sense.
I can see it now. Threads titled- why wont my ddr4 5000 memory run at xmp? Hehe
