I went ahead and ordered one... half the price of the MK3s. Will be nice to have a back-up for smaller jobs and something the kids can also play around with.

I really really want one of these. "Mini," but it has roughly the same build volume as my i3 clone (Maker Select v2.1), cutting 20mm on X and Y isn't a big deal if it nets much sharper prints.

Interested in feedback too. I have a makerfarm i3v from back in the day and its tough to keep it dialed in. May be time for a new one and those creality printers look cheap

Here's a quick preview of my Prusa Mini... arrived just 3 days ago. :D

Any first impressions? Im either waiting till march for the minis to start shipping for new orders or saving up a little longer for the mk3s

Very impressed thus far... All the features of the MK3s and then some.

If you don't mind and can live with the smaller plate dimension size, its output quality seems to be pretty much on par with that of the MK3s from my direct observation. Another plus is that it isn't a kit... it comes pre-assembled for the most part. It only takes ~20 minutes to fully assemble out of the box by joining the base plate assembly to the arm and then mounting the LCD controller.

Love the multi-color LCD control screen and its layout/features. Wish the MK3s had this as an option. (I bet they add an upgrade kit for the newer screen or just incorporate it into the MK3s eventually)

Bottom line, if you can live with the smaller print size dimensions (don't need the larger bed size or the ability to create larger prints), then this is a very viable option over the MK3s. I still feel the MK3s is the better overall printer, but this comes really close to matching it at a smaller size.
