Purchased this (https://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=312&cp_id=10828&cs_id=3121301&p_id=29407&seq=1&format=2) some time ago and managed to misplace one of the plates that screws into the back of the monitor. Monoprice says they don't sell replacement parts so unless I find it I'm screwed.

The plate that attaches to the back of the monitor has a hard black plastic rectangle on the back of it, which drops down into a slot on the mounting arm. It is a little bit of an unusual setup.

Anyone run into this kind of situation before and have any (helpful) suggestions on how to solve the problem (besides finding the missing plate)?

You could take one off, trace it onto a blank piece of aluminum and get to work with a hacksaw, hand drill and a file. If you have to be lazy about it, a clamp. I have done more complicated things with just those tools. Where there is a will, there is a way. In all seriousness, I am serious.

The issue is that the mounting plate slips into a lock on the mounting arm. What I really need to do is clean up / search through all my PC stuff to try to find the plate, but at this point it is probably easier to look for a replacement.

Can you post a picture of the back of the plate? The part that slides into the slot.
