Anyone interested in "renting" me your large Blu-ray collection for a week? Will pay per disk (depending on size of collection) plus shipping/insurance both ways. Or local pickup in the Houston area. Only interested in 1080p Blu-rays, no DVDs or 4K discs.

Lol, I guess slow internet and looking to rip some HD movies? :p

I've got a few hundred but think shipping would kill it

Library doesn't carry Blu Rays. Have Netflix but 3 disks at a time...they have gotten real slow in shipping...
I'm pretty sure they are slowly killing the disc based delivery. It really has gotten slow, most older good titles have really long wait times, and a lot of the discs I get are unreadable.

Its a shame because there are so many good films you *could* get on disc based that aren't available on any streaming service.

Interesting, but I dont think a week is enough for my collection. :) The 1080p portion ends 5 years back when i started buying 4k stuff so nothing recent in 1080p, unless it came with the 4k disc.

I think...I have close to 300 blurays and the box is really heavy so shipping would be expensive. Also running Plex with a Synology 8 bay NAS and its working well, even with 4k/HDR/DV passthrough.
