Photo/Video editing, 3D rendering, and gaming - does such a monitor exist ?!?

I apologize for the post - I've been out of the scene for a while, and haven't stayed current on all the trends/tech.

Currently in the market for a new monitor... or convince me otherwise... I currently own a U3011 that I never gamed on, and primarily used it for photo editing. My son, is now old enough to play games, so he does some light gaming when we let him; CPU (Fortnite, Roblox), PS4 (madden, the show, fortnite), and Switch (Fornite, splatoon, MK4).

I don't foresee any crazy CPU gaming anytime soon, so I am not too concerned but definitely don't want to limit myself. I know video card capabilities play a part but for now I want something that can handle above with the option to throw more at it later...

Here's where it gets tricky... I plan on photo editing on the same monitor, however, I don't really do a whole lot of actual prints so accuracy, while important, does need to be on a pro-level. With the recent purchase of a 3D printer, i'll be using sketchup and fusion 360 pretty often, I know these don't have any monitor requirements but thought I'd point it out to give you an idea of my daily tasks.

Having said all this, what's recommended? don't need the biggest screen but somewhere between 24-30" +/- 2" ... Curved is cool, but not necessary, and I am not a HUGE fan of ULTRA WIDE (skinny) monitors. I'd like to keep the budget under $500 if possible but can adjust if needed

Thanks!

If you can fit it on the desk then I would just get a separate display for gaming. The ones that are good for photo editing are usually not great for gaming and vice versa.
