Looking for the 3950X prior to the November release because i'm upset about the delay. Hoping one might pop up prematurely on eBay or otherwise!

$950 / OBO shipped is my offer for now!

$800-shipped? For a $750 chip that wont be available until November, is likely to carry sales tax in most states - even from eTailers now, and will probably be selling for 20%+ higher than MSRP on eBay just like the 3900X is now?

Good luck...

Updated my offer :(

I'm just starting now to get it over with, hoping something pops up on eBay like a leak. it's possible

Don't get your hopes up. AMD will sample these things about a week to ten days before the product launch at most. The reviewers will need them to create their content. Trust me, most of them will be working right up until the deadline to do that. The only CPU's that anyone probably has right now are QVL samples that have gone to OEMs for testing. These are the most likely ones to get out, but I'm pretty sure that most companies will try and prevent that.

If a reviewer gets a piece of hardware like a CPU and turn around and sell it ahead of NDA expiration and I produce no content with that sample, the company that provided it will stop providing me samples. No one will risk doing that. That said, there may be a few that pop up much closer to launch from Chinese sources, but not all of these will necessarily be real. Kyle used to procure some CPU's ahead of time, but he's never shared with me how this was done. But he was doing this because Intel wouldn't sample him. The chips were most likely QVL chips from OEMs. Motherboard manufacturers if I had to guess. I've actually been provided CPU's earlier by OEM's than the CPU makers themselves on occasion.

But, they only did this because they knew we were producing content and not Ebaying the damn things for quick cash. Your chances of getting one ahead of time aren't very good. Wait the extra 30 days or whatever and not pay more if you don't have to.

Such irony that Kyle now works for Intel, lol.

Free bump for op. This one will be a gold-plated unicorn before Nov.

AMD should opt to release a Gold IHS for their HEDT offerings

would be nice

Some Russian already has one... If real then that's quite unusual.
