I picked up a piano. I've wanted to learn to play for years and now i just went about bought a digital piano. I want a ipad that can play youtube videos without a hick up ( i think gen1 are too slow so maybe gen 2 or newer?)

No ipad mini. If it has broken glass but i can still see the videos thats fine.

I have a Microsoft surface with a broken glass. Works fine outside of it being ugly looking.

Any specific Gen of iPad?
I have several after family upgrades. Retina 3rd Gen & 4th Gen - home button issue on 4th Gen from screen repair. One older 2nd Gen as well.
I presume storage does not need to be more than 16GB?

LMK and we can work out something.

I recently introduced my daughter to playing piano. Initially we started by video instruction and reading from older books I had, but have switched to using the Ipad but with a program called SIMPLY PIANO. Its a program that listens as you play and shows you which keys to hit, how far off you are, etc.. I was actually impressed with it to the point i purchased a subscription. My daughter within one month could play with both hands at same time and read the notes. Her favorite part is that they have many popular and current songs it can teach you to play. I know this sound like a shameless plug, but I believe music is one of the best things to happen to humans.
