Hey all,

I'm searching to upgrade my GTX970 mini to a 1070ti or normal 1070
does anyone here wants to sell?

Regards.

There are a couple of normal 1070s in the FS/FT forum. 980ti also worthy of consideration unless the 6GB vs 8GB is a deal breaker.

what resolution and hz? if it's 1080p above 60hz go with a used 1070 or 980ti.. if it's 1440p or 144hz go 1070ti. if it's 1080p 60hz a 1660, 1060, RX580 are all going to be cheaper options.

I second this. But what about the 16xx line?

having had both cards (sold the GTX1070 recently), I would say the GTX1070Ti is worth the extra cash. Its pretty close to a GTX1080 when OC

Ever consider a GTX 1660 Ti?

Some used GTX 1070 Ti are priced to close to a new GTX 1660 Ti.

GTX 1660 Ti performs on par with the GTX 1070 Ti or a hair under it. Though it only comes with 6 GB ram but it will come with fresh new warranty, better power efficiency, and smaller sizes available.

Though the better models are priced a bit close to a RTX 2060.

Ehhhhhhh I dunno about that.... Depending it can be a 20-30% difference.

Also, 8GB is the new 4GB so yeah.. That's a plus.

I can sincerely recommend the 1070 Ti.

20-30%?

Are you sure you don't mean 10-12% in a few games at most? Other games more likely to see something like a few fps difference or 5% ish.

I hate to use youtube as reference but I'm stuck at work atm.

I do favor 8GB overall but if they are priced roughly the same and if OP isn't crunching 1440P resolution, then 6GB vs 8GB wouldn't matter so much. Might well as well fetch new warranty overall and better power efficiency.

If you meant the GTX 1660 (non-Ti), then definitely there is a performance gap between the GTX 1660 and GTX 1070 Ti.

1070 ti should be a tad more expensive, but in the range of a 1080 performance. I would go for it...

1070Ti is one of the best price-performance cards of the series. You can OC it to stock 1080 speeds and save some money.

I could sell you an MSI Gaming 1070 Ti if you're interested. I just bought a 2080. PM me.

Another vote for the 1070 Ti. It's gotta be within 1-5% of GTX 1080 performance, and in the used market the 1070 Ti is pretty much in price parity with the non-Ti.
