My work PC has an R7 370 which supposedly supports 4K @ 60hz. I have it connected to a Philips BDM4350UC which also supports 4K @ 60hz. However, I can only get 30hz max with the GPU and monitor over Displayport.

I have tried forcing a custom resolution in the AMD settings, but it says the resolution is not supported. Beyond replacing the GPU, has anyone got any idea on how I can enable 3840 x 2160 @ 60hz?

try lowing the color depth gpu control panel, check your tvs settings, make sure its set to pc mode and there was a thread where a lg need "deep color" enabled to get it working.

Tried to lower the color depth, but no difference. This display isn't actually a TV, it's a monitor.

ah sorry. saw phillips and thought tv. have a different cable to try? dp is suppose to do 4k/60 on those 370s.

After a little more messing around I figured out what the issue was. For some reason unbeknownst to me, the monitor defaults the Displayport version to 1.1 and the HDMI ports to 1.4. Switching it up to Displayport 1.2 fixed the issue.

Thanks for the suggestions pendragon (y)
