Its not out of the question to use deep cycle marine batteries with these. Just be aware that the internal cooling may not be able to handle extended runs under load.

I have some older 1000va APCs that also could handle larger batteries like this, but opted not to do it because of the age of the unit and the application. The extra run time would have been great since the load was almost nothing, but the risk of fire was not acceptable. Its not out of the question to use deep cycle marine batteries with these. Looking into batteries now
If you still have the 2.5" caddies, I was looking for a few for my r710 server.Buyer pays for all shipping and PP fees. The cost of the items is free.
BNIB Super Troopers BR - $5 shipped (really you are just paying for shipping)
6-8x 2.5" Dell hot swap caddies
I may have one but you need the pin adapter. They go for like $2 on eBaySpeaking of 775, I'm looking for an X5460 (pref SLBBA) or X5470 pin modded with the sides cut for lga775. Dads running a P5Q motherboard with a core 2 duo in it out in the garage, runs like absolute butt now so hoping to OC a xeon. I also posted in my WTB thread if you need a few bucks for it. They're pretty cheap on ebay but I'll have to wait for shipping from china.

You can get the CPU for shipping
And to anyone else I have some 771 and 1366 CPUs I have no need for if anyone wants them
And if anyone has these I’m looking for a AM3+ Board and DDR3
Man I could have definitely used that AM3+. Socket wouldn’t even have mattered to meLet me know if you have any of the ones i was looking for. I'm also told e5450 SLBBM and a few others that were ultra high end should be able to hit 4ghz on the p5q. Another user has offered me a sticker so i can try to mod it with that and the dremel.
I just threw out an am3+ board because the plastic socket broke.. it still worked but i thought it was junk. Might have a few random spare sticks of ddr3, have to look. Prob just 2gb 1600 sticks if any.
edit: I'm interested in
X5460 SLBBA
X5470 (only one stepping)
E5450 SLBBM
...I think the x5470 is the best of the three, probably doesn't really matter though.
There were some lga775 xeons as well that may also respond to overclocking (I'm not sure but I would guess they would like their core 2 quad counterparts if those do):Speaking of 775, I'm looking for an X5460 (pref SLBBA) or X5470 pin modded with the sides cut for lga775. I used to think that until I saw a lot of stuff on ebay that sell for the parts as there's a lot of talented people out there that can fix stuff with the parts. Now I think of who I can give bad parts to for them to repair if they can.Ergh sorry.. I didn't think anybody would want that.

Sweet, I messaged you. Thanks need to find some things to post on here, normally it doesn't feel worth hanging onto and I just toss it but I see how others might find stuff useful.Ready4Dis I still have the caddies.
Sounds real fancy ay? PM sentAnyone want a 25 cigar (what the box says) humidor? Cedar lined and mahogany finished.
These are going for the price of shipping (from NE Florida) + any paypal fees.
1. Gigabyte GA-AM1M-S2H + Sempron 2650. Only DDR3_1 slot works for memory. I've had this for years and last time I tested it out, it posted just fine. It's been sitting for about a year since then in an ESD bag.

2. Biostar TForce 6100, AMD Athlon 64 3000+ ADA3000AIK4BX, + Patriot 512MB DDR. This was shipped to me by accident, the person didn't want it back, and it's been sitting for about two years in an ESD bag.

I'd take the biostar just to add it to my wall. It's just ugly enough to be pretty. lol
If you stil need i have 2x2gb and 2x1gb i used in my file server but i need to replace the mobolooking for 2x2GB DDR2 .. or 4x2GB DDR2 if you happen to have a 4 memory slot s775 micro atx mobo laying around
driver are to big for my old socket 775 mobo raid cotroller
buy a new raid controller. mobo will not start with anything in its pcie port.
Check for BIOS updates, if your board has a PCIe 1.0a or 1.1 slot (LGA775 is old enough to have them) and a bugged BIOS, newer PCIe cards will cause the system to fail to boot. I've had this problem with many boards, and sometimes motherboard manufacturers have released BIOS updates to fix this.
Have a few things I found in my horde that I want gone, about to make a GW trip to offload some stuff.
2 x Xeon E5503
had to look that up...dual core 1366, I didn't even know they made those
Have a few things I found in my horde that I want gone, about to make a GW trip to offload some stuff.
2 x Xeon E5503
1 x Xeon W3505
2 x AMD FM2 APU OEM heatsinks (these things are junk to me, they're too small to effectively cool a 65W+ APU and too damn loud)
2 x 2 GB DDR3 1333 ECC (generic modules)
2 x 1 GB DDR3 1333 ECC (more generic modules)
Quadro NVS 295 256 MB PCIe x16 (This is a low profile card with a full height bracket.)
I'll be happy to take care of those DDR3 for my "new" file server:" ( are they unbufferede or registered?)
They're ECC. They probably won't work in consumer Intel boards, but may work in AMD boards since AMD is less picky about RAM, though I don't currently have any AMD boards to test them in.
The board im looking at support ECC but im not sure if its take registerede unbufferede/registered is a seperate aspect of the module than ECC/non-ECC
That size they are most likely unbufferede. ill take em.
I'm aware of all that. Hence why I was asking about if the ECC memory is registered or unbuffered.ECC and Registered are two different technologies. Memory modules can have one, the other or both at the same time. Memory support today is derived from the CPU since the memory controller is integrated into it. Intel desktop CPUs don't support ECC or Registered memory, you have to go with their Xeon server CPUs to use them.
If you want to risk trying ECC, I can ship you the modules. You'll need to send me a PM with your shipping address and I'll let you know the cost of shipping.
FWIW, I've never seen a board that can take ECC and non-ECC ever take ECC Registered and vice versa. The only oddball to this rule is the Dell r410 server I have as it can take ECC Reg or Unreg ECC, but not non-ECC.I'm aware of all that. Hence why I was asking about if the ECC memory is registered or unbuffered.
Most of the servers I've worked with takes ECC/registered. However Pro/consumer board with ECC tends to take ECC/unbuffered when they support both ECC and nonECC (in my experience. but thats a small amount of mobos)
