Vertical GPU Adapter

I've been looking at vertical GPU adapters, primarily the CableMod one, but it uses all 7 PCI bracket slot things in an ATX case, so you can't use a sound card or any other PCI device. I then found a Phanteks one that only uses 5 slots but all of the reviews say the bracket is very flimsy and bends from the weight of the card. Then I found a Lian Li one but those reviews say that the ribbon cable is faulty.

Can anyone recommend a good one that'll still let you use a sound card? Preferably someone that has and uses one and can comment on the quality. I'm using a Meshify C case if that matters.

Thanks.

Like you I was looking for the same thing and ended up modding my case because no suitable option was available. The only other alternative was to buy a vertical GPU pre-configured case.
Fortunately my case is large enough to achieve the end result with a little bit of modding. YMMV

Red lines indicate where I trimmed the bracket and drilled holes for mounting.
This bracket takes 6 slots as mounted leaving 7 completely open and accessible as installed.

Clearances

Using the dremel I cut a "C" shaped opening at rear of case the bent outward and crimped excess over the bracket.
Note in the image below I used a high density closed cell 1/2 strip of foam as a spacer between the bracket and case. This is the kind of foam that is very firm used for vibration dampening and helped with alignment when tightening the through bolts. I had some lying around I had used in the past as a water pump base in other builds. You also could use a closed cell insulation board or similar.

You can see the clearance here but note to install sound card or other devices in anything other than slot 7 it must be mounted before GPU and bracket during you build.
I was moving working mobo from one case to another so I wanted my devices in the exact same slots as they were before the move.

I was hung up on the glow of my PC case then I placed it on the floor so I would stop looking at the side panel in all its faded glory.

I appreciate the detailed write up but I just bought the Meshify and I'm not great with dremels and drills and such, so I'm wary of chopping it up to make this happen. :(

That's actually the reason I got a Meshify -- I had a Corsair Carbide Air 540 before and it looked great, but it was huge and wouldn't fit on my desk. The Meshify does but now that I'm staring at it all the time, I want it to look as clean as possible, and a sagging GPU with a ton of empty space beneath it doesn't look great.

I might try one of these things instead?

dany man TY you are right not one RGB fan or UV coolant die the only thing RGB is the HydroCopper water block which is set static blue
PiERiT The GPU does not sag but was miss aligned I could have put it so it rested on the PSU Cover but I didn't want the PCIe Extension Cable to show and wanted access better access to the bottom two PCIe slots without having to remove GPU best when water cooling. I may move my Temp gages to below the GPU to fill that gap and put back in my BluRay drive upfront.
