And remember, a high powered rifle is evil based on the way it looks. Ban all cool looking firearms and the problem goes away.

Vote to make body armor with Justin Bieber's face and a heart on it... should solve everything.

Remember, people can't be bad if it means they have to do illegal things (like purchase illegal weapons, cross into a country illegally, etc.. nobody does this). Ban everything, all problems go away.

Just random thoughts. I mean, we can say "we have a way to prevent" all of this... but do we, really?

Hyperbole? Yes, but the point is valid: The Federal Government/States either have the right to decide which arms are permissible for an individual to own, or not. You can't have it both ways.

no, hyperbole is the dumbest attempt to make argument and im not going to seriously address the question "are sharks with friggin lasers on their heads protected by the 2nd?" its irrelevant and only thought to be a clever angle in your own social bubbles. you should take a look at what the courts have already said about the 2nd amendment and take a look at contemporary commentary. this isnt a new issue. basically again stop pretending that google is broken. im not going to do this for you because 1) i already provided some info which you ignored and 2) you've already decided what you believe and accept, this is a huge waste of time past a few exchanges.

the only honest/informed argument is to repeal the 2nd amendment if you dont think regular people should own guns, which again is totally possible. goodbye friend(go away)

I wouldn't consider that an outright ban and was overturned later anyways. What little Obama did targeting gun shows was overturned, too. Maybe I should revise my statement to say an outright gun ban will never happen. If it were going to happen, it would have happened under Obama. It never did and I don't believe for a second it ever will, at least not here.
 
This means they won't be selling COD:MW2019, correct? After all, it leads to mass shootings?
 
As usual, out of touch politicians running their mouths. Remember that idiot who tried to ban violent video games in California, Leland Yee? At least he is serving in prison for various corruption and weapon trafficking charges. Ironically, he also passed a lot of anti gun laws as well.

The real cause of the issue is poor mental health support and mass news media which has made these types of attacks more popular. So far the Democrats solution is to limit rights without due process and turn everyone intro criminals based on a he-said she-said basis and Republicans seem to mention reopening mental asylums. Just wonderful.
 
I wonder if Jack Thompson will start making headlines again. I haven't heard anything from him in a while.

I'm sure all 3 of the central and south American people that refer to themselves as "American" agree.

Now that I think of it, I've never heard of anyone from Europe refer to themselves as European unless they were describing ethnicity/race. They always go straight for German/Italian/Swedish or whatever country they come from.

As a Canadian, I can say with the utmost certainty that we would never accept being called “American”, especially considering who the current US president is.

I always refer to myself as european, because if I referred to myself by my actual home country 95% of non-europeans probably would have zero idea where it actually is.

Fair point. What country? I'm going to assume outside of the few big western European and Scandinavian countries most people probably can't name another country in Europe.

Hungary, and it's not an US thing either, people had given me funny looks in the middle east as well, when they asked where I was from. While Western Europeans aren't saints either, to them it seems that anyone who is white and foreign must be Polish, so they don't even ask where I'm from usually. They just assume some eastern european hellhole, where people still live in huts.

honestly, I don't see a problem with that. kids get way more expose to that from tv at home or their "smart" phone, watching daddy drool over the gun display at walmart is just a typical sunday afternoon tradition

People haven't heard of HUNGARY? Damn, I live in the US and even I have heard of Hungary. I was expecting you to say something exotic like Lichtenstein or something, but HUNGARY!? I would at least have expected people to have heard of Austria-Hungary...
