RX 5900 and RX 5800

It's a damn shame they can't launch it by the Christmas shopping season. We don't know if the R VII production will have totally ceased by then but it's going to happen soon-ish. The better custom RX 5700 XTs on the way like the Nitro+ and Red Devil will be nearly identical in performance to the Radeon VII (if you don't need more than 8GB VRAM).

the consumer cards dead, the gpu it's self on the VII will continue to be produced since it's the same gpu used on the Instinct MI50.

I think this is way more obvious than what people are letting on.

Way back whenever, Dr Lisa Su was walking around on stage and she mentioned a few things in a row that made it clear to me, that (the card she had in Her hand) was only one of the gaming GPU they were working on, and later confirmed that they have another team working simultaneously alongside (Navi10), that benefited from Navi's mistake. Being taped out and working, She said AMD set... on being in a "Leadership Position", etc.

Also, that TSMC has given (allowed) AMD access to multiple capacities. Can easily make Navi10, Navi12, Navi14, Navi etc... all along side each other.

The consumer R VII has been EOL.

Yep that was in the new last week, so i assume AMD will have something slick coming up for the PRO people too.

I hope these big navi will be released soon,, as in this year. but i think not and so i will probably get the 5700XT which are also a plenty fine card for my 1080p screen, and so my geekiness will not cost me more money than it have to.
So just waiting for partner cards with other coolers and so get myself a nice BD present at the end of the month when its my BD.
