If you guys have an m.2 NVME socket, for a little bit more you can get the intel 660p 2tb for $194.99 on Amazon.

Sure it's only 1800MB/s - definitely slower compared to other NVME drives - but that is still 3x plus faster than any 2.5" SATA III SSD drive.

Just posted this same deal in Prime deals....of course after i bit the bullet...not sure how long/many will last at this price. i have been waiting for a well-known 2TB to go sub-200 yay!

But the 660p is using QLC....not the best if performance if of any concern.

What type of performance are you talking about? Unless it's some niche case, otherwise I would guess a slow NVME is still faster than a fast SATAIII in general use.
