Im bored. Show me pictures of your older Athlon 64 rigs!

I am going to be building out an athlon 64 gaming rig in my Thermaltake Xaser III case.

I feel like having a cool nostalgic build from my earlier gaming days!

I want to see what set ups people had and find some cool things I can do with this system

I've been wanting to make one again for so long. Watch me post here in like two years.

No Athlon 64, but I love my blue Thermaltake Xaser III case that I got 16+ years ago starting with "Intel inside Pentium 4" build.

BTW the Xaser III case is super heavy.

I love you so much for posting your case, I picked up a silver edition lately, not sure which color I want the most I plan on collecting these cases as I can afford and find them. I always wanted one back in the day but never got one.

What are you using for fans in it? Also u got any more pics of it?

that crossed arms backs to eachother picture to the left of the monitor has me dying over here.

My FX system
2006: Originally Built w/FX-57, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB HD, 2x BFG 7900GT in SLI. (This system ran Crysis for me!)
2011: Fried both 7900GT's at the same time with static electricity while moving in the middle of winter. Mothballed.
2018: Upgraded to 512GB Crucial SSD, Upgraded to 4 GB RAM, Upgraded to GTX 950 2 GB, Installed Windows 7 64 bit
2019: Upgraded to FX-60
Pictures taken: Today 2019-07-15

Current specs:
Case: Lian Li PC60 USB B2 Silver
PSU: Seasonic S12-600
CPU: AMD FX-60 Dual Core
CPU Cooler: Thermalright XP-90
MB: Asus A8NSLI Premium
RAM: Corsair XMS 4 GB (4x1GB) DDR-400 3200-c2
SSD: 512 GB Crucial MX500
GPU: EVGA GTX 950 2 GB
DVD Burner: Lite-On 16X w/Lightscribe
DVD Reader: Asus DVD-E616A Silver
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit (Windows 10 64bit does not work due to missing CPU instruction in FX series of AMD CPUs)

Cable management sucks, but the case doesn't have good places to put them. The PSU is not modular.
Why did I take it out of mothballs and upgrade it? I was bored.

LOL My best friend and his wife the guy was a tech guru who got me into PC building and was a fantastic lead guitar player. RIP Tracy

I spot a glorious Logitech speaker system
That system lasted 10 years before the amp went bad got the updated version a couple years ago. The original had better bass extennsion.

I still have mine, and it still works. Purchased in 2006. It is relegated to porch status now.
