So I have been out of the recent trends for monitors for a while but these Acer Nitro panel by Innolux have been poping up seems like they have some of the worst QC issues but backlight bleed seems to be the biggest problem. Then I watched a review on youtube and the stand on these monitors is LOL at best I never seen a stand wobbly that bad before and the guy who bought it was talking about a versa mount even then the monitor wobble was pretty bad. Intresting they have a 1440P144hz 21.5" IPS which is a nice size looking for a 24.5" 1440P IPS but the QC is though the roof for these.

Flagship Nitro monitor with backlite bleed the reviews are like a spiders nest.

I have the XV273K and its a beast. Its stand is extremely solid.

4k144hz 10bpc for desktop and 4k120 VRB for competetive FPS

Typical IPS when it comes to BLB and IPS glow, but its DCI color palette is fantastic.

Very nice, just researched it since I somehow hadn't heard of it.

Maybe I'll skip if since I don't own a AMD card and I'm not going to downgrade my card for a monitor I suppose I could buy 2 cards LOL but I like Nvidia way too much to swing AMD for as little I game.

AH there is a Gsync version it's just not for sale on Amazon except from 3rd Party.

The Gsync version does not do VRB.

4k144hz 10bpc VRB is AMAZING on older shooters like BF4 and counter strike where
maintaining 4k144hz constant is no problem with my 2080ti.

The XV273K is an underrated gem due to idiots running 100% brightness @ 500 nits and complaining about BLB and IPS glow lmao.

Priced at $799 its a bargain for what you get. Freesync, VRB, 4k144 10bpc, QDot colors, etc, etc.

Nvidia cards support Freesync on this display.

What is sacrificed if anything going to gsync compatible instead of hardware based gsync? The gsync version lists 24hz to 144hz range. Is the freesync different on that or anything else? It's a $200 price difference.

Your limited to Freesync 120hz vs Gsync 144hz, which is not a deal
breaker for me because gsync / freesync is overrated....yes it eleminates annoying tearing
but on fast motion in FPS games you still have craptastic sample and hold pixel smear. Also,
I think most people who need "Freesync / Gsync" are not gonna be worrying about the 24hz difference.

I know for a fact the Gsync version does not offer VRB.
VRB is the entire reason why I ditched my X27 and bought this display, well that and desktop 4k144hz 10bpc

I consider this display a great work productivity display and excellent competitive FPS display....

Now I will say this, the VRB is not as good as Light Boost is one some of those super fast 1440p TN panels. The ROG Swift PG27VQ has the best VRB/BFI/Lightboost I have ever seen, BUT its a craptastic TN panel with inferior colors and resolution Vs this NItro.

For competitive FPS, I think this Nitro is an all around better package vs the PG27VQ, due to superior resolution, superior IPS colors and decent VRB. The XV273K feels like the Soul Successor to the Eizo FG2421.
