How to make Win 10 Pro usable?

Are upgrading with the new feature updates or clean installing? I don't clean install feature updates on my Win10 Home or Win10 Pro machines and I have never had an app I have removed come back. I know other folks have complained about this happening and just wonder if doing a clean install may be the cause.

Nope. Those flow freely. It's 'feature updates' and other fundamental changes that are frozen.

The challenge is that Microsoft doesn't spec LTSC to be used by end users, even in the enterprise. It's supposed to be used for kiosks and the like, for the few situations where you'd use Windows instead of stripping down and locking up a Linux distro.
