Help w files on sd card

So I have mp3 mixes on my sd card on my Samsung s5 that I want to delete but somehow they are read only. I cannot uncheck it either to delete the files....not sure how to delete now? !
 
Sounds like a permissions issue. I would try to take ownership of the files.
 
How do you do that? It's simply mixes in mp3 format. For sum odd reason only 10 of the 100 mixes are read only...
 
Ehh.... So you mean you have connected the phone to PC or use SD card reader? You haven't tried any file manager(s) or music players on phone?

If all fails copy the stuff you want to keep somewhere safe and format the SD card.
 
Yes I tried ez file manager and it said it was deleted but when I checked my storage amount it didn't go down by 2 gigs (the amount I want to delete) so I checked and the files poof reappeared in the folder again?!
also tried to delete it thru my Samsung audio app but it won't. Then thru windows I tried and it says it's read only it cannot be deleted wth? ! I deleted 80 other mixes perfectly fine..

If the app you use to mix is on the phone, try force closing that and then deleting the files.
