Checked on this over the weekend and the selection was already awful. Pretty much the only things left are nick nacks no one wants (e.g. Pops!), then clothing and accessories.

Website is pretty fail, you can't search by what's still in-stock so you just have to click and pray on basically anything.

Picked up a few things for gifts, I'd say it's sad to see them bought out, but like others have said, they started trying too hard for my liking.

Cool geeky stuff is often overpriced no matter where you buy it. We pay out the nose for cool geeky shit these days, which is one of the reasons I don’t even bother buying that stuff any more.
 
Man, their site isn't even a shadow of what it once was...Not that the original creators even have anything to do with the site these days...

Long gone are the days of Bawls, penguin mints, and really cool over-monitor lights/etc.

Their office used to be in McLean, VA, halfway between my house and my high school. I tried to get a summer job there packing boxes/taking photos for the website, but never got an offer. I did get to see their original webserver that had gotten slashdotted and overheated in the weeks before. I even got to meet their dog, Cisco.

Gonna miss all that.
 
Well at least that picture of me wearing the binary blanket in my w00t! shirt will have no chance of returning now
 
Years ago this site was a go to for refurbished/open box parts at stealz! That went away long ago but it was nice while it lasted. RIP ThinkGeek
