Ran into a 65 inch Oman Gsync. Tv?.......


OMG. Wish I could have seen it game and not play movies any good reviews?
 
I saw a Linus Tech Tips video review on youtube. Short version, great monitor (but FALD is not perfect and some other caveats), but very expensive, not as good as a TV, and at that price and size you want it to be good at both.

Which is a bummer because just a couple weeks ago I bought the previous version (although $30 less).

And yes, I've seen that big monitor, pretty impressive but too much $$$

I just moved and have a Micro Center 5 minutes from home. Wow, it's wonderful, coming from the environs of New Mexico.

Why doesn't it have Freesync?

WHY

 
Too expensive for me. Then again I don’t play competitive fps games. I would think those folks would be better of with something a bit smaller or sit farther away. Lots of craning in front of such a behemoth. I sit about 6 feet from my 55inch 4k tv that I use in my flight sim setup. I pass on this one.
 
I can go to ebay.com and get a brand new in box 77" 2018 LG OLED for $3899 which would blow this display away in just about every respects except for G-Sync.
