Looking to buy whole PC or combos...

I need a decent and fast PC. I need to run 3 monitors, 2 of them are 2k (maybe get another in the near term) NO GAMING, without issues.

I HAVE BEEN OUT THE GAME FOR A LONG TIME so I am a tad lost on hardware. I went to Newegg and put a few things together and it came out $400ish to $470.

ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 AM4 - 3 monitors but higher priced CPU

AMD RYZEN 3 2200G or 2400G (is it worth all that extra $?)
Minimum 16GB Memory
SSD
SeaSonic M12II 520
Case
May not need a GPU as board supports integrated 3 monitors.

BOTTOM LINE:

Could be Intel or AMD based, do not care. Just want a budget pc that can run with no issues.

Current set up. Do not need the 4th screen but need 3.

So, I am moving. Unfortunately the job I am moving to has a trash pc. I need a decent and fast PC. I need to run 3 monitors, 2 of them are 2k (maybe get another in the near term) NO GAMING, without issues.

2x 2K monitors and 1x 1080p... that's a decent amount of workload for just integrated graphics. Should be fine for anything basic like browsing... but If the programs you're running on this triple monitor setup with two 2k monitors and one 1080p monitor have even minor load on the gpu (processor's integrated graphics) it might get magnified significantly with that monitor setup... you might end up dealing with constant stuttering.

A ryzen 2400g with a asrock a300, ram, 512 nvme and one of those $9 windows 10 key might work well for you. I think the 2400g would be fine for you apu wise and the 4/8 will be fine for desktop work for a least a few more years. I wouldn't go 4/4 though with the 2200g.

You know if you don't care about games or bleeding edge cpu performance, you might check out some of the refurb / off lease desktop systems (Dell, HP, Lenovo). You can get an entire system for $150-250. You might need to add a $50 video card for the triple monitor setup. Most come with 8gb, so $25-40 for another 8gb ram. Some have SSD, some not. So if not, 256gb SSD (for OS drive) are $30. And legit Win 7 / Win 10 licenses.

These are what I recommend to family members now who want me to build them cheap PCs. Most come with some kind of warranty too.

Microcenter has a bunch, but Newegg and Amazon sell off lease too.

Something like so...

https://www.microcenter.com/product/605999/elitedesk-800-g1-sff-desktop-computer-(refurbished)

And that one already has 16gb ram, 256gb SSD, and has 2 DP and 1 vga so can do 3 monitors out of the box. i5-4570 quad core 3.2ghz haswell . $269

With a $100 video card (1050ti or better) this would even be a semi decent 1080p gaming box. (get a LOW PROFILE card, these won't take full size ones)

+1 to refurb units. Best bang/buck you'll get at the price point. Consider maybe a dedicated low-profile GPU on top to alleviate any pixel pushing issues.

~$200 thinkpad x250 or 450 if 16gb is a must
$25 ultra dock
$50 ssd if it doesn't have one, done.
