I've been out of the community for a while, but I'm back to offer a crushing deal on my server. With much remorse I must let my baby go as I'm moving somewhere I can't bring her along. I'd rather find her a good home than try to recoup more money. If you're looking to step up your home/small business local storage, you won't beat this.
Right now I'm trying to sell this all in one lot at a low price to save me the time and work to disassemble and ship multiple packages. The HDDs are in anti-static bags in a separate box to help protect the platters.
Price: $2300 OBO, freight included, all offers considered
Components:
Rack: Ucoustic Active 12U Quiet Server Rackmount Cabinet SKU APUCA-12U
Chassis: Supermicro SC846E16-R1200B -- 24 Bay 4U Chassis 2x 1200Watt PSU and Rail Kit
Mainboard: SUPERMICRO MBD-X10SRI-F -- Server Motherboard LGA 2011 R3
CPU: Xeon E5-1650 v3 -- Hexa-core (6 Core) 3.50 GHz Processor - Socket FCLGA2011
HSF: Supermicro SNK-P0050AP4 -- Supermicro 4U Active CPU Heatsink Cooling for X9 UP/DP Systems
RAM: 4x SAMSUNG 16GB Server Memory Model M393A2G40DB0-CPB -- 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM ECC Registered DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000)
Backplane: Supermicro BPN-SAS2-846EL1 -- 24 x 3.5" SAS or SATA up to 6Gb/s (SAS-2)
Sys Drive: SUPERMICRO SSD-DM032-PHI SATA DOM (I was having some issues, this drive may need replacement)
Battery: APC Smart-UPS RM SMT1500RM2U -- 1000W/1440VA 2U Rackmount LCD UPS System
Switch: Juniper EX2200-24T-4G
PDU: Server Technology CW-8H1 -- switching power distribution unit with expansion unit
KVM: IOGear CGL1808 LCD combo KVM
HDDs:
7x 4 TB WD Red WD40FRX
6x 4 TB Hitachi/HGST
10x 2TB WD Green WD20EADS
1x 500 GB Samsung HD501LJ
1x 400 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10
None of the HDDs gave me any errors when DoD'ing them in DBAN, but you're getting the drives as-is. Everything was working well before I shut it all down with the exception of maybe the SATA DOM system drive -- you'll want to test that drive or just replace it. The Ucoustic cabinet is amazing. The server sounds like a leaf blower with the doors open, but once you close those vault-like doors with a heavy, satisfying "thunk" it's nearly silent, so silent that I've run it in my living room as a Freenas storage server for years. It's a heavy pig, but can be easily moved on its heavy duty castors. I'll ship the cabinet on its original pallet and will include other goodies I've picked up like extra air filters, blanking panels, and hardware.
Let me know if you need any clarifying info or pictures. Thanks!
