This has probably been asked before but I'm looking for a a 27 inch 4k monitor with the best blacks and little to no light bleed. It could be IPS or another panel with the best viewing angles.

The best would be Acer Predator X27 and Asus ROG SWIFT PG27UQ

If you want the best blacks and minimal bleed, you need to stay away from IPS. VA is superior on both fronts, and while it does (or can) have issues with smearing/overshoot, if deep blacks are you concern, it's the way to go. However, VA does have worse viewing angles.

Why 27" at 4K? That's rather small. 32" would be better really.

Lol, I think people who need a four-figure Eizo monitor already know they need a four-figure Eizo monitor and don't need to ask on forums about it... at least I'd hope so ha! Killer monitor though, but for a VERY specific use case.

Of course, but that's a pretty acute angle in the second pic lol! I'm guessing you don't often use your monitor from that position. Even IPS won't look great from that angle, although it would be better.

This is a problem with VA... better blacks and contrast, more punchy colours (albeit not as accurate), but you sacrifice viewing angles over IPS. It all comes down to priorities at the end of the day.

Any visible ghosting on that panel? I have the older LG 32UD59B and it has ghosting even in the browser on pages like slashdot.org (https://www.dropbox.com/s/xhtn37hfl6e7ixc/Slashdot.orgScrolling.MOV?dl=0)

Wow, that's horrendous. Mine has no ghosting at all. Its a beautiful monitor sitting directly on center, but just slightly tilt your head to one side or the other and you get a washed out screen.
I couldn't take it anymore, I shipped it back to Buydig today.
