I am in need of Dell SATA cables. The blue and orange type like you would find in an Optiplex tower. I came into a batch of Optiplex towers that didn't come with drives or cables. Drives are no problem, but the cables are what I need.

I will need at least 3 of each. I can live without the orange cables, which normally run to the optical drive, but I absolutely need the blue ones for the hard drives.

As always, let me know what you have, and thanks in advance.

I have used normal SATA cables that you can get on eBay or left overs from motherboards in various OptiPlex Computers without a problem.
You dont need the Dell ones.

Because they are Optiplex towers. And while cable management is nearly impossible in them, with the blue cables for the hard drives, you can run them down and along the bottom of the case(in the OEM position), and it just looks cleaner.

The plugs on the blue SATA cables are oriented differently, which is what allows this. On other, more commercially available cables, they would stick out and go up and over the hard drive cage.

Also, when I flip these, I want them to look as OEM as possible. That way, when the people I sell them to google their particular model, they can see a picture that looks almost exactly like what they got, with the exception of the ram, PSU and video card.

I can get them for you as well... we have many dell OptiPlex but you have to remember that the OptiPlex has been around for eons.. can you give me the model your referencing for exact?

I believe I have a few around as well. These are from the Optiplex 755 SFF series.
