God help me, I'm getting the itch for a system upgrade again. The machine currently sits in a Corsair Obsidian 450D case, which I like quite a bit and would like to keep. When it comes to CPU cooling I plan to go with one of two setups: a 280mm AIO cooler attached to the front with the fans set as intake, or a 360mm AIO hung on top with the fans set to exhaust. The problem with that second choice is, Corsair's own 360mm cooler apparently doesn't fit in the 450D, as it butts up too close to the rear fan. I haven't seen anyone try to flip it around and put the tubes up front, coming out from the 5.25" drive bay area, so I don't know if the mount points give it enough clearance that way.

Does anyone know which if any 360mm AIO coolers will fit at the top of the 450D and still leave enough room for a rear fan to be installed? There won't be any 5.25" drives installed, hell the only drive in the new setup will likely me an m.2 ssd.

It will be very tight, ideally you would want the tubes coming out the bottom of one of the tanks and the tubes sitting in your 5.25" drive bays, I have an enermax 360 mounted in the roof of my 750d and there is only 2" at the front and 1.5" at the rear of mine in clearance before it hits either the front panel or the rear fan.

having looked at the top of the case on the corsair website i would say no, unless you remove the fan. Why not mount the 280mm up top?
