Audio chipset is "internal" on Zen2?

Looking at the new updated techpowerup diagram of the X570 chipset and Zen2 SoC.... Am i correct in thinking the audio is internal now on the SoC of Zen2?

hold on now, then im confused. Why on my past am4 boards did i have a realtek 1220 audio codec then if the audio was internal???

The audio controller is internal. The codec (the piece that changes the digital sound signal to analog ones that driver your speakers) is external. That's not changing on Zen2.

Yes DAC (and ADC) functionality is part of the codec.
