Gigabyte Enables PCIe 4.0 on X470 and B450 Motherboards

They did this with Sandybridge but it only ran at x8 max.
This will be no different.
Max bandwidth wont change, all you get is very slightly lower latency for the overall transaction.
 
It will probably cause infamous boot failures knowing Gigabyte's firmware. I wouldn't even try it at this point.
 
Can confirm my Gigabyte B450 Aorus M with BIOS F40 has PCIe 4.0 enabled on the first slot.

Performance is unaffected, as expected.
