Lol . WIsh there was a microcenter close by. Not one anywhere in KY. The closest one is a 2.5 hour drive away from me.

Checked my offers and no 10% off Turing cards, but I got 20% off hairdryers... maybe i can convince them it can be used as one and should qualify

still not worth it

True these cards are not close to worth $1000. The most a 2080 Ti should cost is $700. These video cards are going the same direction as smartphones where they are plateauing and software isn't demanding enough to warrant the cost of high end cards like the 2080 Ti.

Actual trouble selling cards will be reflected only when prices fall, not before. This is how supply/demand works.
Nvidia doesn't seem to even listen to themselves, as they even admit it that people didn't fall for the price increase,

Quote:
"Kress noted that the new cards provide a "revolutionary leap in performance and innovation" over the products that came before, but NVIDIA's potential customers appear to be waiting for lower chip prices or more widespread implementation of the new technologies in actual games."

Also they didn't even mention the cards are known to die, and no one even knows long term how these cards will fair.

It's kind of sad that these days companies themselves can't even listen to themselves?

I know there are lots of people that wouldn't touch even a TI for over $700, why they continue to ask the prices they do seems nuts.
