When do I start to worry?

I did a FnF for a long time Hocper on here. This was saturday, and they said they would ship and send me tracking next day. They have not been on H forums since and no contact with me, and no item. I emailed them to the verified email, no response, msged several times on here, no response. I know life happens to people but I am getting worried. I have never ever in 20 years on here had a problem with fs/ft. Honestly I am more concerned if the guy is okay than I am about my item. Any advice on trying to reach out?

Oh man this sucks. Your laptop is awesome btw. I hope this gets resolved. Are they actively signing on? what was it for?
 
They have not signed on since sunday, so not active - the have been on H for years so I hope things are okay. I don't want to call them out incase they are having problems out of their control. Glad you are enjoying the laptop!!

Even though the last eval was almost 3 years ago he has good heat...so I wouldn't worry too much right away...maybe wait a few more days to see if he signs back on or if anything shows up in the mail .....
 
yeah I was more worried about him than the actual money / product. I have yet to be scammed by a H ocper short or long term - was hoping someone knew him personally.
 
I haven't heard back from seller either, not since last Friday. Pms not responded back either.
 
I was told it "should" arrive today but when I asked for tracking info I never got anything back. I have asked twice no response.
 
Shocker - nothing has arrived as of 6 P.M. No more information, no tracking. I will try to contact him one more time before pursuing legal action I guess.

If you are going to start a thread about me please at least have the days straight. You didn’t even purchase this until last Sunday. It seems that you probably shouldn’t VOLUNTEER to send via Fnf if you aren’t comfortable with the risk.

My apologies for the delayed response, and not sending you the tracking, but you now have the tracking I info in your inbox. As I said, the package was supposed to be delivered Saturday (according to the receipt), but my apologies that USPS missed the delivery date.

For everyone else, I’ll keep my explanation minimum. Life happens, and delaying response and delivery was never intentional. I never asked for fnf payment, he volunteered, and he obviously got psyched out when I didn’t reply in a timely manner. The device was shipped 4 business days after payment.

Just to be fair - you are correct, it was Sunday, I got my day wrong (one day)- and no you did not ask for FnF, I offered it because of your status. My fault. but...

You said you would send me tracking info on Monday - I got nothing and as of today the item as not shown up. I got no message from you and you had been offline for a week. When you did come online you replied to me -
"Hey sorry yes this shipped and i believe it should be there today. Also, I had purchased 2 of these from someone and I think I shipped you one that has a name on the back. If you are unable to easily get it off (which you should be able to) I’ll swap it out for you no problem. Just let me know."

No explanations, no tracking and when I asked for tracking while you were still online you never replied. I was also contacted by another member who purchased items from you on Friday who never got them and never heard from you at all so sorry, but it looked like you were scamming.

If you will notice, I never called you out by name here and my intent was more worry since I have NEVER had an issue with H Ocepers ...ever. I get life happens but it's not too hard to take 5 seconds to send a message saying "hey sorry I need a few days to get this together."

Lastly - the tracking you sent me TODAY- I get the above message from USPS, If the item arrives and in the condition, you stated I will update.

yup, totally agree... It doesnt take but 1 min to pm someone stating who/what/why/ and when. Complete and utter lazyness and or just overall being a douche. OP, I hope you get what you paid for. You are within every right to have made this post, cause i surely will not ever do a transaction with this guy. and he called himself out, so thanks for the screen name "NICKSTAR" .... the OP never stated your name at all and was actuallly just concerned about your well being..... I know i could have cared less about someones well being, i just want my stuff that i purchased. but thats just me.
 
Okay all is good, Item arrived and communications are flowing. I'm good with NICKSTAR - all is peaceful in the light,
