Not a server, but hey. Use it regularly, but getting added to the pile in the basement soon tho.

I might just beat you all when back at temporary home ;) good to see the old rigs representing.

I wonder if it will pick original install date or base it off of upgrades. My main machine was originally vista, upgraded to 7 and then to 10.

Edit: definitely does off the windows 10 install date lol

I’ll have to see when I get back to my computers. I liberated one from a storage room recently running an old Soyo mobs and a preshott with either XP or Win2k on it.

Wonder if it will even fire up. Worked when it was put in storage about 10 years ago.

the latest I found so far..probably need to patch/reboot it

I have a system from ~2005 that has gone from XP->Vista->7->8->8.1->10 over the years without ever seeing a new windows install, but it only shows the date of the Windows 10 upgrade.

Last time I installed Windows was back in 2009, just upgraded both machines over time,

When I upgraded to Win10, it reset the install date,

After I upgraded,

Ill have to check the old voicemail server before decommissioning it. Its a Srv2003 box.

Huh 2010... thought it would be older. The box itself is from 2004. Probably did a reinstall before my time.

Does systeminfo work on Windows 98 SE? Sorry for the ask. After all of these years, the beige has yellowed on certain parts of the old Inwin tower case. The days when an OS fits on a 4GB drive.

11/11/2013 is the install date on the machine downstairs. The wifes laptop would have had that beat as it was a February 2009 (that is the date on the receipt for it) installation that was upgraded to Windows 10 from the XP installation that would have taken over from the preinstalled Vista install that Acer provided. Unfortunately that machine died a couple of weeks back so cannot count that today although the SSD that had the installation cloned to it from the HDD that was in it is still there & working if the hardware was!!! I do know I have an even older Dell laptop with a nVidia Quadro mobile GPU in it that is running a XP install from at least 2006. Again the motherboard has died on it so cannot boot it to see.

Found an older one, 2008. Its held in its own network, also about to be decommissioned.
