So I tested the SW RTX reflection demo on my GTX1070Ti and see how it looked/performed.

I got like 8~12 fps at 1080p. That was expected, but IQ was far from what I've seen on the videos, specially reflections on Phasma. It just didn't look right, lots of noise.

I'll post some pics later, as I'm "working" right now.

In Turing RTX uses Tensor cores for denoising raytraycing, might havesomething do with the way Pascal denoises in the CUDA cores have less “fidelity”?

The reflections looked clean to me on a 2080 Ti.

Would be interested to see a screen shot.

I haven't been able to play the demo anymore it says I need the latest drivers, haven't changed anything.

I just tried it on my GTX 1070 laptop, it looks about the same to me.

Aside from running at 7 fps, the image quality was good.

I updated to latest drivers and managed to run it once after several lockup on start.

Looks much better now. But not quite like the video IMO.

Before it looked too grainy, noisy and with very apparent aliasing specially in the helmets, but now it looks fine. I wasn't able to get a pic till now.
