Info here, but no benchmarks.

Anyone have any reviews? Is this the most "powerful" card that only requires bus power?

Anyone know if a GTX 1650Ti might be able to beat an RX580/GTX 1060 on bus power alone?

NVIDIA didn't bother to provide drivers until launch day so reviewers weren't able to start testing until now.
Ugh....That sounds...not good :)

Edit: GTX 1650 still not listed on their website. For people who don't have CD drives, how do they install drivers?
Edit: 430.39 seesm to have GTX 1650 support b w/o GTX 1650 listed in the dropdown for "product" when you are searching for drivers.

Kind of weird that there are no benchmarks. Did Nvidia really not send review samples out? This card is in the price segment that is a big part of their bread and butter.

Edit: It looks like they delayed driver release to prevent reviews? Wtf?

Based on the specs, it sounds like it is around the same speed of the 1050Ti (and priced similarly due to Nvidia's Turing Price/performance compared to Pascal nonsense).

Doubt it. Apparently some 1650s are already coming with power connectors, so I expect it will be standard on the 1650Ti.

Well if the RX570 has been wiping the floor with 1050Ti for a while now and RX580s can be found for that on sale.....

Exactly. Its not a good card to release in this price segment. If it was right behind the 1060 6gb maybe.. but if its just a 1050ti that Nvidia is going to try and sell using "upgraded" features over the 1050 instead of performance, it wont sell. I'd still rather have a new or used rx 570 or rx 580 for the same or lower price.

TPU has at least one chart up: https://www.techpowerup.com/254827/...0-released-tu117-896-cores-4-gb-gddr5-usd-150

No real surprise. It's a little faster than 1050Ti, and MUCH slower than RX570.

The only reason to buy it is, power limitations.

They would be smart to make a low profile version of this. I have a fleet of Optiplex SFF computers that they would do well in.

We are living in strange times.

AMD rules the sub $200 market with RX590/80/70
Nvidia rules the $200-$300 market with the 1660/1660ti
It's a toss-up in the $300-$450 market with GTX 1080/vega 56/64, RTX 2060/2070.

A tie at $700 price point with radeon VII vs 2080.

And Nvidia wins the performance crown with 2080Ti

Yipes, that Guru3D review needs some love, pricing on page one is off but correct on the last page. :p

They will have LP versions. Product numbers have popped up on the web for LP 1650 and LP 1650ti, but I haven't seen any product shots yet.

At $129 and the ability to run without a PCI-E plug this card would sell much better. However, for those just looking for a card to put into a power-limited case and putt around with a few games then this is a good card for them if just a bit pricy.

Just have to watch out, some of the card indeed have a PCI-e 6-pin connector on them.

I picked up 6 Dell Optiplex 3020 SFF's for really cheap last year. I keep them at a family cabin we have and break them out for lan parties when the family all gathers up there. Right now they are running a mish mash of gt 1030s and 1050s. I think its a good upgrade path for the 1030s when they release the low profile version.

Oof. Nobody is going to buy this. Especially with the RX 570 kicking the shit out of it and going for less than $100 used on ebay. Hell, the new price $130 is still better than the MSRP of $150 on the 1650.
I think it is mostly for OEMs. They will buy these up. Still a turd of a card.

Not sure why Nvidia waited on the drivers... Wait, now I know.

Forget the RX570, the GTX 1060 3gb beats up this card in most scenarios. Was anyone surprised? There is only so much you performance you can get with that kind of bandwidth.

Well, I still think the 1650ti will be a good product.

Damn Asus - $170 for a card that doesn't overclock any better??

RTX 2060-like value with GTX-1050ti like performance. Good grief.

Reviews are not flattering....

Price is too high. That's the only real thing wrong with it. However, if NV sells a ton of these at current prices then they made the right call.

I'm hoping NAVI helps to drive down prices on the low-mid to low-range cards. I know...#waitonNavi

Just like the rest of the Nvidia Turing line...

This is also a gimped Turing as it doesn't get full Turing nvenc support either. What's the advantage of having a bus powered card when the OEMs put six pin power plugs on them?

Was hoping this would be a sweet little card... excited for midrange 16xx cards in general but agree that this looks like a pass until the price drops.

Guessing the recent $99 970 B stock price.

Its a great price but I think its comparing apples to oranges. The B stock 970s are limited in availability and don't fill the role that this card is going to fill. You can't throw a 970 in a Dell Optiplex and expect it to work with the 230w power supply and no 6pin connectors.
