Gigabyte has released new bios for upcoming chips. For example here is the bios listings for my GA-AX370-Gaming K7 (rev. 1.0).

I wish that motherboard manufacturers would allocate more space for new bios. They dropped support for Bristol Ridge APUs with this release.

  1. Update AGESA 0.0.7.2 for Athlon 200-series (Raven2) APU and further new CPU support
  2. Improve USB compatibility
Note : Update AMD Chipset Driver 18.50.16.01 or later version before update this BIOS.
Note : Due to BIOS ROM size limited, no Bristol Ridge APU support.

Cool. I'll try this on my k7 and zen2 when z2 drops. I'll probably still update to a new Mobo, but this is for science. I'm sure the vrms can handle it. But curious about missing bios options.
