ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 AMP Is $649 @Amazon

Noice, been hoping for a deal on a 2080 this week and was about to bite on an open box Asus Strix OC for $730ish. If this this runs quiet enough, then I'm definitely ordering it shortly.

Haven't ever had a Zotac card before.. any issues I should be aware of? Looks to have solid reviews.

Edit: Just ordered it. Thanks Cageymaru!

Zotac is smaller but US Based, I had really good support from them back in the day with a broken GTX 560.

I doubt you could go wrong plus it's a triple fan so it should meet or exceed your quiet requirement.
Pricewise it is a deal https://camelcamelcamel.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-256-bit-Graphics-Backplate/product/B07GG9L5X1

Worth upgrading from 1080ti @ 1440p to eek out some extra frames or wait unitl 2080ti drops?

I've had the 2080Ti AMP card since November of last year, and i've had no problems with it so far. (Knock on wood) Been running okay since then. Not the 2080 i know, but i've had no troubles with the brand name.

I'm just coming from a 1060 6GB (along with rebuilding my whole PC), so it's a huge jump for me. But for you, unless you plan on playing the few games that use ray tracing and think DLSS is a worthy feature as well, I definitely wouldn't bother upgrading from a 1080ti as the performance increase here is pretty negligible from what I've seen, esp. if you have a G-sync monitor to make sub-60 FPS performance much more tolerable.

Hah, nice and I'm glad you're putting it to good use now after it's sat neglected around my house for the past couple years. That laptop literally got me through college from 2012-2017.

I'm building a Ryzen system and just finished up ordering pretty much everything today; Asus Strix X470 mobo, 2700x, 32GB 3200 Vengeance RAM, and this card. I could still use a newer more efficient PSU to replace my old BFG 1kW PSU and a decent keyboard and mouse combo though. I just found this Corsair K70 MK.2 Mechanical keyboard on sale though for $100 and am tempted to jump on that.

Got my card in yesterday and damn is this a long card if you couldn't already tell from how much the heat sink hangs over the back of it. It doesn't fit in my full tower HAF X with the GPU fan shroud in place to blow on it, so I had to remove that fan to make it fit. Fortunately this cooler seems to do a good job without it, so I'm not worried about it. I have it running in my old X58/i7 920 system for now until my new 2700X arrives tomorrow so I can gut it and clean it out throughly. But at 1440p/120Hz, this old chipset doesn't seem to be holding it back much, as I was getting 100+ FPS in the few games I tested (Dirt Rally, RE2 Remake, Doom 2016) maxed out. So I'm definitely not worried about the 2700X holding it back now, lol.
