EDIT: It's a 27" monitor.

Edge lit IPS...no thanks. FALD is the only thing that even makes an IPS panel worth using for me. I'll just have to wait for a high refresh version of the Mini LED 32 inch.

Great to see high refresh finally coming to 4K.

There is no perfect monitor, now or probably in the near future, but still progress is being made.

Personally, I'm happy with my current setup for now.

Strange, Anandtech has a somewhat different set of specs for this monitor. Notably they say it will have mini-LED FALD (1152 zones), but is only 60hz. There's also a 27" model which is 144hz but without the FALD, again according to AT. Then again, it says right there on the demo model's screen that it's 144hz, and AT did get the model number wrong (unless there are two different lines with very similar model names? Seems unlikely though), so I'm more inclined to believe TFTcentral's reporting. Surprised they're saying no FALD though - for the $3k price AT is quoting, I would sure hope for something extra.

Edit: need to read better. There are indeed two distinct products here - the 144hz CP3271K-P, and the 60hz CM7321K w/FALD. Pity they couldn't get everything on one model.

Well seeing as how the 1152 FALD is already $3000, if they really did combine the two monitors into one giving us 4k 144hz 1152 zone FALD...it would probably cost $5,000 :ROFLMAO:

No mention of adaptive sync with the FALD display. I'd be perfectly happy gaming on a 4K 60hz adaptive sync display if it had FALD and I would take that over 144hz since you aren't going to get that with AAA games anyway, if you want smooth performance with no wild framerate hitching you will probably have to run the monitor in 85hz mode anyway unless you only play e-sports games.

Bummer, this is actually a 27" monitor. Silly Acer nomenclature. Probably uses the same AUO 27" 4K 144 Hz panel that's used in many screens now. Nothing to see here.
