Is it because I am so new to the website? That is understandable.

I have ebay feedback and can prove it gladly, both buying selling, and I have a few feedback on reddit as well. I have a verified paypal and live in USA.

I see people in FS/T are selling items cheaper than they typically go for on Reddit, so it would be very nice to be able to buy older intel CPUs and stuff that I use/need.

Furthermore average [H] users seem to be a lot higher quality than on reddit, and it seems like people are friends with each other here. I would really like to migrate sites.

I don't have any ill intentions, I just want to get access to good deals that I would miss by only using other websites.

Proof

EDIT:

This issue has resolved itself, I was just impatient and didn't let the system update my privileges. Sorry all.

This. We do not run that chron every second of every day. It checks several times a day and updates your privileges accordingly. Patience is a virtue. :)

Sheesh, I've been lurking these forums for 8 years and still haven't hit 100 posts... is there any other way to be able to post on the FS/FT forum?

1) Go to the HardOCP front page. Although there is no longer any new News posted, it continues to show the most recently active threads

2) When you see a topic you find interesting, click on it to read it

3) If you find something particularly interesting in the thread you just read, or feel it is missing something... say something.

You will hit 100 posts before you know it - worked for me (it's how I found YOUR post, actually) :)

FSFT is for CONTRIBUTING forum members. This goes a long way in making our FSFT very solid. It stops a lot of drive-by selling and spamming. I know it might be a bit much to ask on post count, but it has worked out very well in making our FSFT very strong over the years with very few problems.
