Have you heard of this display, or does anyone have experience? I can't imagine having such a huge display in a normal room with a normal desk.

Link to Amazon.

It's a bit big but it's not unimaginable, lots of people run triple monitor setups and those could be even wider.

The real issue with this one is that it's ineptly priced for early adopters that are going to have better options in a couple months.

Hang it on the wall and move your desk 4' out from the wall?

I was thinking about this monitor today. Was in my cave with the tape measure. I could set it up and I could afford it by year's end with overtime but I find myself asking 'Do I really want to blow 5k on this?' My common sense says 'Hell no!' but that little dreaming thought in the back of my head still nags at me.

The LG OLEDs are 2 times cheaper, 3 times by black friday and will have next level image quality compared to this.

The LG Nano Cell TVs are anywhere from 3 to 5 times cheaper and have simillar quality to this.

They all do 4k120 @ 10 bit HDR via HDMI 2.1. There are no HDMI 2.1 GPUs for a couple more months until hopefully Navi.

Literally zero reason to purchase this unless it's RIGHT NOW and even then you're going to need a good excuse for not waiting.

Well today Acer showed off their 43" 4k 144Hz 1000 HDR tv set to release this year so.... looking towards it now
