This is a solid alternative for those who don't have a Microcenter nearby. Very similar price / performance to a 256GB Inland.

Totally agree.

240Gb for me personally is enough for a boot drive. I tend to like smaller boot drives as I never install games on a boot drive or use a massive amount of data for apps, etc. I think for most 240gb is plenty even in 2019.

I just posted a killer deal on 16gb of DDR4 3000mhz memory for $75.

It's getting cheaper and cheaper to build a high-performance system.

Just got this Samsung MicroSDXC EVO Select Memory Card for my cell phone and use it as external storage when I need to back up a customers computer on-site etc

A thumb drive offers a lot less options that's for sure.

You can throw this thing in a laptop, a PC, even hook it up to a phone if you have the right adapter or of course, throw it into an external case or a docking station, etc etc.

ff you have a quality external case, one that has a NVMe interface, with usb-c ... you're gonna see 10x the speed of any thumb drive out there as well.

yeah I have the OEM 128gb NVME in a USB 3.0 type A plug flashdrive enclosure and it does really well on transfer rates. at $40 for 240gb and a USB C plug..... you could get some mean transfer rates and for moving video projects or complex 3D designs that have 100s of files this would be nice to have.

Of course a 1TB or 2TB model would be even better but.... this is a nice price that is for sure

Wish the 1TBs would get cheap... want those for some laptops. $150 is still kinda high for me
