I am taking my NAS over to SSDs finally, so I have a bunch of spinners for sale.

25x Seagate ST4000LM024 Drives (4TB 2.5", shucked from externals). All drives showing good health in Crystaldiskinfo and showing raw values of zero for uncorrectable errors.

Drives will come in an anti-static bag with a printout of the crystaldiskinfo page.

$SOLD

24x 2U hotswap caddies for 2.5" drives (they were fitted on the above drives, came from a Supermicro server). $9 + shipping each / OBO ($200 shipped for the lot).

Payment via Paypal. Tons of heat under Machupo.

Will ship via USPS Priority. Of note, these are coming from an APO, so USPS Priority = 7-10 days :)

whoa

what's the warranty status (or manufactured "date/year")?

really tempted in picking up a few to add to what I already have (the 24 bay supermicro 2U chassis are great btw )

They are shucked from externals so I'd imagine the warranties are void.

That being said, I have been running 10 of these for over two years continuously and have only had 1 go bad so far. The ones being sold here were backup drives I had as part of a planned expansion. I ended up going the SSD route instead.

ttt - OBO on bulk buys. Now that the SSD NAS is coming together, would like to get these moving!

All PMs replied. Ttt!

Added the rest of the drives from my NAS, so plenty more to go.

These are the thicker form correct? Ie: not laptop friendly

what is their power on hours?
I only ask because seagate tends to fail me at around 20k power on hours on the 3.5 non enterprise drives

Drives are sold -- drive caddies for 2U installation are still available.
