Ok, so I would like to increase the fan speed on my CPU but can't figure it out.

I have:

Asrock Z87 Motherboard
i5 4670K @ 4.1 GhZ
Zalman LQ320 water cooler
9R Fury X water cooled

When I play high demanding games I use SpeedFan to increase the fan speed on my GPU, I leave it at 15% when non gaming and when I game I crank it up to 50%.

The Speedfan software also has three other fan speeds:

Sys:
CPU:
AUX:

They are all at 65% (stock) and when I increase them to 100% or 0% I can't tell any difference from the fans getting quieter or louder. Also, when I change the GPU fan speed the RPMs do increase, from 620RPM to 3,000 RPM.

But the CPU and Aux fan speed remain at 878 RPM and 1450 RPM no matter how slow or fast the fans run.

I also have a fan controller installed where my stock DVD drive used to be and they control three fans:
1 bottom intake, one front intake and out take fan on top of PC case and it works fine.

I'd like to know how I can increase the Zalman LQ320 fan speed, I have two fans on the radiator, both are Noctuas with low noise adapters.

Usually 3-pin fans can't be controlled through the 4-pin header specifically labelled "CPU Fan". Try one of the system headers.
