Haven't had any issues with them and have had 1 of the 2 for about 5 years now. I've used them on my 1/1Gbps fiber connection for around 3 years and seen no issue with throughput. They're pretty cheap, too.

I just picked up one of these 16p trendnet switches: fanless, w/ lifetime warranty ~ its rackmountable but you have to buy a 10$ bracket, and its unmanaged but priced accordingly.
